Reapers (Pvt) Ltd is a locally owned registered Seed House.
It started operations in 1997 as a groundnut farming, procurement, processing and marketing company.
It has since transformed itself its operations as an Agro-Processor of small grains and operates an out grower schemes for small holder farmers countrywide.
The small grain out grower programme promotes food security and retention of traditional crops which are suited for regions 4 and 5.
Under the out-grower programme, Reapers extends seed and agronomy services including fertilisers to selected farmers under a commercial contract. Input costs are recovered at marketing of the produce. This option ensures quality management through seed. 70% of the beneficiaries are women.

Groundnut seed is extremely susceptible to physical damage and should be handled with care at all times.

Our business model is based around Rural Development. The out-grower farmer must reap what they sow. We at Reapers have a robust business plan that allows farmers to farm groundnuts and other small grains commercially and in return produce is purchased at the fairest prices in Zimbabwe.
